We have quite a few pirate ships now and this is definitely at the top as far as quality goes.
-It came in well packaged and in perfect shape with no missing pieces.
-The pieces are in numbered bags that go with that same numbered step.
-The instructions are well organized and easy to follow. They give you good views of where the pieces go and don’t have you add too many at a time.
-The finished ship matches the listing photos very well.
-It is definitely a build for older, more advanced builders.
Overall I would say this is a great addition to any builders ship collection.
The JMBricklayer Pirate Ship Building set was not one of the best ship building experiences I've had - I always struggle with the sails. But it looks good when complete!
This set looks great, the pouches are layed out thoughtfully to keep everything straight, and they didn't cheap out on the instructions. If I had one complaint it would be that the wires on the lights are so very thin, but maybe they had to make them that way to tuck them away between the building blocks.
