When Season 4 launches, you may need to act quickly to secure the popular sets you want.

So, which sets in the BrickLink Designer Program Season 4 should you pay special attention to?

There are five sets in Season 4: “Medieval Seaside Market” by Bricks_fan_uy, “Siege Encampment” by SleeplessNight, “Merchant Boat” by NicolasCarlier, “Wild West Train” by llucky, and “The Riverside Scholars” by Hanwas.

The sets are likely to be in high demand

Castle-themed sets such as Bricks_fan_uy’s “Medieval Seaside Market” and SleeplessNight’s “Siege Encampment” are likely to be in high demand.

Based on historical data analysis, it is expected that when the Designer Program Season 4 launches on February 4, 2025, either “Medieval Seaside Market” or “Siege Encampment” may sell out within three hours or even sooner.

The Sets may not be particularly popular

Brickset’s data analysis also suggests that “Merchant Boat,” “Wild West Train,” and “The Riverside Scholars” may not be particularly popular, as similar sets in previous seasons did not sell out completely.

The released set 910036, “Ocean House,” is similar in type to Hanwas’s “The Riverside Scholars,” and only accounted for about 35% of sales in Season 2 of the Designer Program. Another set, 910035 “Logging Railway,” belongs to the same series as Llucky’s “Wild West Train,” with a sales share of approximately 37%.

Although there are few precedents for Nicolas Carlier’s “Merchant Boat,” it seems unlikely to sell out quickly when Season 4 begins.

With just three months to go until the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Season 4 launches on February 4, 2025, we have every reason to look forward to more details about these five sets and to hear everyone’s comments and opinions on them.

Now here’s my question: When you have a “The lost city” set for example, with so many special pieces, can you transform it into a tech reproduction? Anyone did such an action? Or to have a bigger chance of success I have to brake down more than one dedicated sets?

    1. Absolutely, it’s possible to repurpose pieces from themed sets for tech builds! You might need parts from multiple sets for more flexibility. Have you tried mixing sets before?
