With the release of ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ coming this July, LEGO is also seizing the opportunity to launch a new line of sets.

We have seen many detailed pieces of information and images about the movie merchandise that have already been leaked.
This includes the brand-new LEGO dinosaurs!

For dinosaur collectors, a long-awaited dinosaur will make a comeback after more than 20 years: the Spinosaurus.
Its last appearance was in 2001 (and the version from that time is no longer very appealing).

This time, the Spinosaurus, with its iconic sail-like structure on its back, is expected to be released in June 2025 alongside several other new products!
New LEGO Jurassic World Sets
Spinosaurus

The “star of the lineup” is the Spinosaurus we mentioned earlier.
Its actual prototype was about 17 meters long and weighed around 9 tons, making it one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. It is believed to have been capable of both aquatic and terrestrial movement.

The new LEGO version retains many classic elements while also making improvements, especially to its torso, which is roughly the same size as the T. rex.
However, it now features a prominent sail on its back, and its tail is split into two parts, with the sail continuing to extend on the upper half.
Titanoceratops

At first glance, some might think it’s just a new color variation, but that’s not the case.

Compared to the Brachiosaurus released in 2023, this dinosaur not only features a completely new head design but also comes with a longer tail.
As for the neck, the images do not clearly show if there have been any changes, but it is likely that the same parts from the previous dinosaur are still being used.
Quetzalcoatlus

The Quetzalcoatlus is actually just a new color variation of the flying dinosaur that appeared in 2022.

It is no longer white, but instead appears in 2025 with a sand-blue color scheme as the main tone.
Mosasaurus

The last dinosaur so far is also one of the most beloved characters by many fans—the highly anticipated Mosasaurus.

Unfortunately, this Mosasaurus is not a model made of large pieces like the other dinosaurs. Instead, it appears as an assembled version with printed eyes.
In Comparison to The Previous Ones
Where there are old versions, there are new ones! Let’s take a look at the comparison with the previous version and see which one you prefer.
For the Spinosaurus, the new version shows clear improvements.
