We’re so excited to hear all about your social media journey! Could you give us a general overview of your channels and what inspires your content?

Also, we’d love to know—what are the 1-5 pieces of content that you’re most proud of? Which ones do you consider your absolute best work? Please share why these stand out and why you think they resonate so well with your fans!

Zoli:

At the beginning of my video career, my primary focus was to create content for YouTube. However, even within my family, they recommended that I expand to other social media platforms, and I also realized that I needed to diversify. YouTube remains my main platform, but I now dedicate at least as much attention to my Facebook page and the group associated with it.

Reaching my niche audience on Instagram has been the most challenging for me, and the growth there is the slowest, but I remain persistent.

I’d like to highlight that almost 100% of my long-form YouTube videos have English subtitles (except for my very first videos) because my goal is to reach as wide an audience as possible with my reviews.

If I had to highlight a few projects that are closer to my heart for some reason or that I am particularly proud of, they would be the following:

Holden Supercharged V8 Engine

Holden Supercharged V8 Engine MOC assembly and review. 

This was my first truly large-scale, serious project, which also posed the greatest challenge, as the manual left much to be desired. However, this was the set that initially received the most feedback on my social media platforms.

Lamborghini Terzo Millennio

Lamborghini Terzo Millennio assembly and review.

 This is currently my most viewed video. It was the first 1:8 scale car I built, and despite its flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a milestone for my channel.

Resurgent Star Destroyer

Resurgent Star Destroyer assembly and review. 

I love Star Wars and always wanted to assemble a larger set, and this Star Destroyer made that possible. I loved it, and later, I gave it away as a holiday giveaway. 🙂

Pinball machine

Pinball machine building kit. 

This kit is the closest to my heart because I had never encountered such a level of creativity in either LEGO or compatible kits. The assembly was a joy, the features are fantastic, and the fact that you get a fully playable arcade machine is just icing on the cake.

Ford Model-A

I couldn’t leave out the Ford model I received from you, as it was my first model equipped with serious LED lighting. I was nervous throughout, wondering if everything would work, but it was truly satisfying when I saw the fully illuminated car.

Zoli’s projects are nothing short of incredible, and each one showcases his remarkable creativity and dedication. From his first large-scale project with the Holden Supercharged V8 Engine MOC, which challenged him with its imperfect manual, to his Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, a 1:8 scale car that became his most viewed video, Zoli has consistently amazed us all. His Resurgent Star Destroyer project was a dream come true for Star Wars fans, and the thoughtful gesture of giving it away as a holiday giveaway only added to its charm. Every project he takes on demonstrates his passion and attention to detail.

One of his standout works, the Pinball Machine Building Kit, shows his ability to push the boundaries of what we expect from LEGO or compatible kits. The fact that it’s not just a display piece but a fully playable arcade machine is truly impressive! And who could forget the Ford Model-A, Zoli’s first model with LED lighting? Watching it come to life was a rewarding experience for both him and his fans. Zoli’s work continues to inspire and entertain, and we’re lucky to witness his journey as a builder!

Maybe some behind-the-scenes moments, personal feelings, or advice that would inspire others? Zoli:

The close collaboration I developed with JMBricklayer was an important milestone in my life because I saw that you were constantly striving to improve the sets, trying out new techniques, and not being satisfied with the existing standard. Until then, I had become somewhat complacent with my channel’s technical setup, but after that, I started upgrading again. I’ve now started streaming on YouTube Live, got a new microphone, a new camera, and I hope I’ve managed to raise the quality of my reviews to a new level.

I’d like to share a few thoughts about video content creation itself. I never thought I would be doing this. I used to watch YouTubers, envy them, admire them. But the idea that I could do it myself never even crossed my mind. I’ve spoken with several people who would have liked to try out this world but decided right at the start that they couldn’t do it. Don’t do that! Go for it, give it a try. One of the best decisions I ever made was when I uploaded my very first, retrospectively very amateurish Cubicfun Black Pearl 3D model review, and that’s how it all began. Listen to feedback, even the negative ones, because they often help you improve. Negative comments also generate activity—it’s hard not to take them as personal attacks, but try to see their value too! Be persistent, keep doing what you’re doing, and stay in touch with the lifeblood of it all—the community, the followers—because that’s the most important thing.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank JMBricklayer for seeing potential in me, trusting me, and reaching out. I’d like to especially highlight Yori—my very helpful contact person at JMBricklayer—for his communication and customer- and partner-focused approach. I would also like to add that he made an effort to accommodate my daughter as well. Thank you so much, and I hope our relationship remains close and long-lasting!
