Excellent model; bricks were of good quality and attached well to one another, the instructions were clear, and the finished product was sturdy and playable.
I was clumsy, and accidentally broke one of the mast pieces. JMBricklayer quickly sent me multiple replacement pieces.
Sails came creased. However, that was easily resolved with a steam iron. Make sure to steam with the coated side of the sail facing downward, and a thin towel between the sail and iron surfaces.

A beautiful ship with beautiful sails. It is a quality decoration for any room. The build was a lot of fun, I just wish that the sail knots had a link to a video somewhere, the instructions weren’t really clear on how to move the end of the string. I accidentally tore part of the sail where the string goes through, but the pieces that attach to the sail make it invisible. You will be left with lots of pieces for the chains, which is very nice, but I’m not sure where to use them now.
The stand looks beautiful, but the ship isn’t attached to anything, and just sits on top, making it ease to slide it and fall over.
Overall the build was very fun, and the ship looks better than the picture on the box!

Very fun build. The package came in very fast, even before it got marked as shipped on the website.
The boat looks very nice on display, although the stand could be a little better. You can push the ship off its stand with one finger, wish it would attach to the stand.
The build was a lot of fun, with some challenges in between. The instructions on how to tie the knots for the sails could be a little clearer, maybe have a link or something that we can use to search for a video on how to do that. I needed up improvising, and it worked out great!
The very front tip of the boat is very sensitive, and can fall off if you touch it. Adding a few extra chains might help, but I didn’t have to add anything.
Overall the boat looks much better than what’s pictured on the box, and looks amazing on a shelf.
