Many people have been asking how to properly attach their JMBricklayer Rainbow Unicorn to the base for a stable stand. While it may seem straightforward, the flexible joints on the Unicorn’s legs can make this final step a bit tricky. To help, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to ensure your Unicorn stands securely. Follow these instructions to get the perfect balance and keep your Unicorn proudly upright!
Note: The final step of attaching the Unicorn to the base may be challenging because the joints on the legs are movable and flexible. It’s not as simple as just inserting axles. You’ll need to adjust the angles to ensure it can hold its weight.
Step 1: Attach the right front leg to the base, making sure it stays vertical during the process.
Warning: Avoid bending the front leg forward, as this may cause the Unicorn to collapse.
Step 2: Sequentially install the two hind legs onto the base. After this step, you may notice the Unicorn leaning slightly to the left.
Adjust the Center of Gravity: To achieve balance, follow these adjustments:
- Rotate the left joint forward to raise the left hind leg.
- Rotate the right joint backward to lower the right hind leg.
Final Result: Once balanced, the Unicorn will stand stably.
