This year, several more LEGO sets are about to be retired, with hundreds of sets leaving the market in the coming months. While this will make room for new sets and series, it also means now is the time to prioritize the sets on your wish list that are about to be discontinued for good.
Many of these sets feature minifigures as a major selling point, and these minifigures might become hard to find elsewhere—or even impossible to get in the future. If you don’t want to resort to buying them on the second-hand market later, now is the perfect time to grab those sets.
LEGO IDEAS 21336 The Office
Released in 2022, the LEGO IDEAS 21336 The Office set is an incredibly comprehensive collection, featuring 15 minifigures that represent nearly all the main characters from the show.
Since it’s a limited edition from the LEGO Ideas line, it’s unlikely we’ll see another set based on this popular sitcom anytime soon—if at all in the foreseeable future. This means that if you want to own characters like Michael, Jim, Pam, and Dwight, the 21336 The Office set is definitely a must-have.
LEGO 75257 Millennium Falcon™
Time flies, and soon we’ll be saying goodbye to the LEGO 75257 Millennium Falcon set, released in 2019. This mid-sized Millennium Falcon includes several minifigures, one of which is Boolio.
Although his screen time in the film is brief, the minifigure is quite unique, featuring two pairs of horns and detailed leg printing, making it a great collectible. Given his short appearance in the movie, it’s easy to foresee that once this set is retired, the Boolio minifigure will become increasingly hard to find.
LEGO 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina™
The 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina set is undoubtedly the most detailed version of the Tatooine scene ever created with LEGO bricks. This means it not only includes the most extensive lineup of characters from the bar but also offers the most realistic recreation.
The set comes with 21 minifigures, which is quite a large number, and I was pleasantly surprised while building it, as I’ve never experienced such a richly packed set before. Some familiar faces are included, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, the two droids, Han Solo, and Chewbacca from the main cast.
LEGO 76405 Hogwarts Express™
In the Harry Potter film series, we only get a brief glimpse of adult Harry at the very end, and this version of the wizard is featured only as a Minifigure in the 76405 Hogwarts Express Collector’s Edition.
The stubbled adult Harry represents the final chapter of the Harry Potter story, and since he only appears at the conclusion, it’s likely he won’t be included in many other LEGO Harry Potter sets.
LEGO 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter
With the unfortunate passing of actor Ray Stevenson, the future of Baylan Skoll in Star Wars has become uncertain. This could mean that Baylan will gradually fade out of the Star Wars storyline to avoid the awkwardness of recasting.
As a result, we may not see many more Baylan Skoll-related elements in future LEGO Star Wars sets. This also means that once the 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter set is retired, it will be difficult for people to get their hands on the Baylan Skoll minifigure, which represents his final role before his passing.

Thanks for the article! I’ll have to add some of these minifigures to my collection before they become discontinued.
Hi, Baylan Skoll is not part of the Pirate snub fighter. Instead ge is included in the 75364 New Republic E-wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter. Best regards
